So i installed 2 gd00z 1 lowes iris garage door controllers and i have them working with smartthings.

4 routines 1 for open and 1 for close for each door 2 switch activates home phrase smartapp setups to tie the switch to the routine. Lol it is a single car garage. In looking at the works with smartthings page it seems that there isn t an opener that inherently connects to smartthings as there are only 2 add on devices that connect to it gocontrol and iris. I have changed the st multi sensor to a smartsense garage door multi sensor and created a virtual momentary switch that trigers the linear device.

I actually have used the time to rearrange clean up the garage since there is a baby on the way in 2 5 weeks. A smartthings hub a smartsense multi sensor a compatible garage door opener recommended. I also created 2 virtual switches. Is this the best route to go.
