Tiny Black Spots On Vinyl Siding

The siding has been on the houses for 12 years and now everyone is talking about the black spots so it s really a town issue lol but one we need to figure out.

Some tell us it s from spiders. If you notice lots of tiny black or dark brown spots developing on your siding above a landscaped area of your yard as seen below it is most likely artillery otherwise known as shotgun fungus. Others have said it s a fungus from mulch.
