Tips for removing laminate flooring.
The planks are easier to remove if you begin from the tongue side rather than the side with the groove.

If your laminate was glued use the floor scraper and heat gun to remove any residue stuck to the floor.
Instead it must be cleaned while slightly damp but not soaking.

Anything that s left there can cause issues with your floor installation.
Holding the heat gun too close to flammable materials can ignite a fire.
Use distilled water and wipe down the floor where the white marks are most prominent.
White marks on laminate flooring can form from water shoe soles pet tracks or build up from cleaning products.
Spray down a laminate flooring cleaner and then wipe it away with a microfiber or terrycloth mop pad.
Place the tip of the curved end of the pry bar in the space between the first row of planks and the wall.
After removing that row remove one or two more in the same way so that you have room to stand on the subfloor.
Step 8 vacuum the entire floor with a shop vacuum.
